Finance Manager

Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead and scale the company’s finance function. This role is responsible for financial planning, cash flow management, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making.

You will act as a key business partner to the leadership team, providing financial visibility, driving discipline in execution, and ensuring the company is structurally prepared for sustained growth — including potential fundraising processes.

This is a leadership role with end-to-end ownership of finance operations, not an analyst position.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Own the company’s financial planning and forecasting processes (annual budget, rolling forecasts, long-term planning).
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team to support growth and profitability.
  • Develop and monitor key financial KPIs, unit economics, and margin analysis.
  • Lead scenario modeling to support pricing, hiring plans, and investment decisions.

Financial Operations

  • Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced accountants and external advisors.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and financial reporting packages.
  • Present financial results and insights to leadership.
  • Identify risks and opportunities in financial performance and recommend corrective actions.

Fundraising & Investor Readiness (if applicable)

  • Lead financial preparation for potential fundraising processes.
  • Develop investor-ready financial models, projections, and data rooms.
  • Support due diligence processes and investor communications.

Process & Infrastructure

  • Improve finance processes, systems, and internal controls as the company scales.
  • Establish best practices in budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Evaluate and implement tools to improve financial visibility and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in finance, corporate finance, FP&A, or finance leadership roles.
  • Experience owning or leading a finance function (startup or high-growth environment preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong financial modeling and forecasting expertise.
  • Deep understanding of financial statements, cash flow management, and accounting principles.
  • Experience managing external accountants or finance vendors.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in tech, consulting, or high-growth companies is strongly preferred.
  • Fundraising exposure is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic decisions.
  • High ownership mindset and accountability.
  • Structured, disciplined, and process-oriented.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
  • Confident communicator capable of interacting with executives, clients, and investors.
  • Pragmatic, hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and operationally.
