On behalf of Huawei Technologies, we are seeking a Facility Manager – Workplace & Soft Services to oversee the delivery and continuous improvement of workplace services across our corporate office environment.
This position is focused on employee experience, vendor management, service excellence, and operational efficiency, ensuring a safe, productive, and high-quality workplace for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace & Soft Services Management
- Lead the day-to-day management of workplace and soft services operations.
- Ensure high standards of service delivery across:
- Cleaning and workplace hygiene
- Security and access control
- Reception and visitor management
- Mailroom and courier services
- Landscaping and pest control
- Workplace helpdesk and employee support
- Meeting room and event coordination
- Drive initiatives that enhance workplace experience and employee satisfaction.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage outsourced service providers and facility partners.
- Monitor vendor performance through KPIs, SLAs, audits, and regular reviews.
- Lead service improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
- Support contract administration, invoicing validation, and service acceptance processes.
Workplace Experience
- Act as the primary point of contact for workplace-related services.
- Respond to employee concerns and service requests in a timely manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality, workplace comfort, and employee engagement.
- Promote best practices that contribute to a positive office environment.
Helpdesk & Service Operations
- Oversee workplace service requests and ticketing processes.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
- Monitor service metrics and prepare operational reports.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards and corporate policies.
- Manage risks associated with security, hygiene, workplace safety, and vendor operations.
- Support emergency response procedures and incident management activities.
Budget & Cost Management
- Manage workplace services budgets and expenditures.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities while maintaining service quality.
- Support procurement and sourcing activities related to workplace services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing workplace operations, corporate facilities, or soft services within office environments.
- Strong experience managing outsourced vendors for cleaning, security, reception, workplace support, and related services.
- Proven knowledge of SLA, KPI, contract, and vendor performance management.
- Experience working in corporate offices, multinational companies, technology firms, financial institutions, consulting firms, or similar professional environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with workplace helpdesk or service management systems.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
