- University degree in Early Childhood education
- University degree/training in music education (preferred).
- Experience working with children in specialized music settings related to the role.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English with advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in a multicultural school environment.
- Ability to effectively implement instructional practices under directions of the lead teacher.
- Ability to connect and interact with students on a developmental level appropriate for young children.
- Excellent human relations skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both host country and international students and parents.
- Ability to work both independently or collaboratively, particularly in close partnerships.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for early years education and the assigned area of instruction.
- Support the implementation of learning objectives according to the established standards and domains.
- Assist in the delivery of lessons aligned with the Early Years Units of Inquiry.
- Apply teaching strategies and techniques provided by the Lead Teacher during whole-class and/or small-group instruction.
- Prepare and organize instructional materials for learning centers, ensuring they are ready for student use.
- Support students in developing their creativity and expression through various projects, performances, or activities.
- Collaborate in the organization and participation of special events, such as Fiestas Patrias, celebrations of learning, or as requested by the Director.
- Maintain responsibility for the supervision, safety, and well-being of students at all times.
- Assist the Classroom Teacher during the supervision of whole-group and small-group activities.
- Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom and school environment.
- Coordinate with Teachers and the Director regarding the daily functions of the program.
