Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define and document data architecture and modeling needs.
• Architect and design comprehensive solutions for the enterprise data warehouse, sourcing data from multiple insurance and reinsurance systems.
• Design and implement Source to Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration.
• Create logical and physical data models and implement them on Microsoft SQL Server platforms.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code.
• Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion and write SQL-based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting and support reporting teams in utilizing the data warehouse effectively.
• Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment.
• Develop Microsoft SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development.
• Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures.

Requirements

• 5 years of data architecture and design experience with development teams.
• 3 years of experience within the insurance and reinsurance domain.
• Advanced experience extracting data from insurance applications.
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence architectures.
• Capability to create and tune semantic layer reporting views.
• Knowledge of relational database management systems platforms including Microsoft SQL Server.
• B.S. degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Claims Center.
• Familiarity with SAP Financial Services Collections and Disbursements and SAP Financial Accounting General Ledger applications.
