Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager at BairesDev, you'll guide a team of engineers building scalable software products. This includes diving into code, designing systems, and establishing engineering standards, while promoting team growth and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers in a collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define ambitious product roadmaps.
• Write and review high-quality, production-grade code.
• Drive architectural decisions for system scalability and reliability.
• Oversee the technical execution of ML features in collaboration with data scientists.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong programming skills in languages like TypeScript, Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of system design and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with data-driven applications and ML.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong CS fundamentals or experience building ML-powered features.

Additional Skills

Familiarity with MLOps practices, previous startup experience, and knowledge of Agile methodologies are advantageous.
