We are looking to hire someone for the position of Elementary School Lenguaje y Comunicación Assistant Teacher for the next school year (2025-2026), according to the following skills and qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences

  • University degree in Early Years or Elementary Education
  • Familiar with Chilean´s Ministry of Education Standards (Objetivos de Aprendizaje).
  • Relevant classroom experience (Grade K2 to Grade 2).
  • Fluent in Spanish written and spoken.
  • High level of English proficiency required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with instruction of individuals, small groups, or whole group in collaboration with the lead teacher
  • Assume the role of the lead teacher when the teacher is absent
  • Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom/school environment
  • Collaborate with the teacher and team grade level in planning and preparation of lessons
  • Participates in parent-teacher conferences
  • Assist teacher with administrative records and preparation of required reports, along with support of student assessments
  • Nurture students through attentive oversight and assist them during transitions
