Design Strategist

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams throughout all project phases, including client alignment, context analysis, insight gathering, opportunity identification, actionable design development, and go-to-market execution.
  • Employ creative and analytical tools to solve practical challenges.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand consumer behaviors and pain points.
  • Analyze and synthesize research data to derive critical insights and discover opportunities.
  • Create visual frameworks to map pain points and innovation possibilities.
  • Generate concepts for new products, services, and experiences that align with consumer needs and business strategies.
  • Validate concepts and solutions through qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Prepare compelling stories and presentations to communicate insights and solutions to clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or postgraduate degree in design, creative fields, human behavior studies, or analytical disciplines such as engineering, business, or economics.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in leadership roles like Lead, Manager, Owner, Architect, or Coordinator.
  • Experience managing a team of 5 or more employees for at least 1 year.
  • Participation in a minimum of 2 full project cycles or multiple projects covering different development stages.
  • Expertise in design thinking methodologies for innovation and problem-solving.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills to articulate ideas and solutions.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments balancing independent work and following direction.
  • Exposure to consumer or user research, ideation, brainstorming, sketching, prototyping, and concept visualization.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly with clients and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Willingness to travel quarterly to the US for research or client work.
  • Portfolio showcasing insight development, opportunity mapping, and framework construction.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken.
