Overview

We are looking for a Data Architect to lead data design in a new enterprise Databricks platform, driving effective data modeling and reuse.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with English-speaking business stakeholders from various automotive sectors to create logical data diagrams.
• Optimize business entities to align with real-world operations.
• Update the data model with new entities and attributes.
• Translate logical diagrams into Databricks data objects.
• Educate users on new models across medallion layers.
• Utilize Erwin for data model design and maintenance.
• Extend the openMetadata catalog.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Architecture.
• Strong leadership to guide data modeling practices.
• Experience with enterprise data projects, especially Databricks.
• Understanding of data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with medallion data architecture.
• Ability to implement KPIs for data quality.
• Proficiency in English (B2+ level).

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the automotive industry.
• Data modeling or architecture certification.
• Experience with data catalog tools.
• Proficient with Erwin data modeling tool.
