What’s on offer?
- This post requires working within our CT department, with our cutting-edge imaging equipment including two Siemens xCite scanners and a Siemens Somatom Definition Plus.
- A crucial role in educating and mentoring students and rotating staff, both practically and theoretically.
- A 37-hour substantive contract, working across a 7-day rota (including nights), forming part of our essential 24/7 CT service. Working public holidays is included in this post.
- Has solid experience working in a NHS CT department, including out-of-hours shifts.
- Is compassionate, dedicated, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Wants to grow, professionally and personally, through continuous learning and hands on experience.

For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa. However, this is only possible if the employer is a licenced Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’. Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a "regulated role", your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
