Overview

We are looking for a Country Regulatory Manager in Chile who will coordinate and execute essential regulatory initiatives across various sites. This role involves providing support in obtaining necessary permits for regulated products and ensuring compliance with current regulations.

Your Challenge

• Provide direct support to the RAS Seeds Leader Chile, coordinating regulatory activities, supervising the team, and ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate submission of information required by regulations to SAG, including GMO dossiers.
• Act as an expert for teams in Chile, providing high-level guidance on regulatory and phytosanitary matters.
• Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Implement Gene Editing and Biofuels projects in alignment with global strategy.
• Monitor industry trends and support RAS Seeds Leader by requesting necessary permits for agrochemical imports.
• Collaborate with global compliance teams to mitigate potential incidents.
• Develop procedures and protocols for standardized processes.
• Supervise hybrid seed certification for local market access.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Biology, or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Regulatory, Compliance, QA, or Seed Operations.
• Strong knowledge of GMO/NBT regulations and phytosanitary requirements.
• Fluency in English.
• Attention to detail and ability to track complex regulatory matters.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership and analytical decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.

• Experience with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
