About the Role

This is an international staff role based in Lima, Peru, aimed at improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean. As a Country Economist, you'll play a crucial role in economic monitoring and development analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Dialogue with the Country: Engage in economic analysis, policy dialogue, and research to support the IDB's mission.

Knowledge Management: Generate analytical knowledge essential for identifying growth solutions and fostering collaboration.

Internal Corporate Management: Represent the Bank in strategic initiatives and manage the country's work plan.

Qualifications

A Master’s or Ph.D. in Economics is required, along with six years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
