Consultant OphthalmologistNHS Lanarkshire - University Hospital HairmyresThe opportunity has arisen to recruit an ophthalmology consultant to NHS Lanarkshire.
Applicants with any subspecialty interest that complements the current consultant body are invited to apply.
The successful candidate will be part of the consultant team based at University Hospital Hairmyres, providing ophthalmic care to the whole of NHS Lanarkshire.
The post offers an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to influence service redesign, pathways, and clinical models.
This includes building on our close links with community optometry, developing the skills of our teams of ANPs and AHPs, and working with the site management team to develop sustainable service delivery models for the future.
The position is full-time, on a 10 PA basis, with a breakdown of 8 Direct Clinical Care and 2 Supporting Professional Activities, subject to final job plan approval.
