Metso is on the lookout for a Senior Purchasing Specialist to join our Purchasing Project team. This pivotal role involves overseeing procurement and supply chain activities for Aftermarket Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and transparency in all contractual purchasing requirements.

Team You Belong To

You will be part of a dedicated Purchasing Project team, managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle. Our team collaborates closely with various stakeholders globally, fostering a culture centered on customer focus and high ambition.

What You'll Do

• Engage in procurement of goods and services while meeting cost, quality, and delivery parameters.
• Manage open purchase orders, ensuring timely supplier engagement and delivery.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve procurement bottlenecks.
• Facilitate project kick-offs and align expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Global Procurement Policies and ethical guidelines.
• Oversee supplier invoice processing and logistics for global shipments.

Who You Are

• Expert in contract management and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledgeable in international trade compliance.
• Experienced in procurement best practices and ERP systems (SAP).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent in English.
