About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Compliance Intern to support Sezzle’s Compliance Team. This position provides second-line oversight and daily advisory support, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide compliance advisory on consumer finance and payments requirements.
• Support tracking of Compliance Operations & Advisory work.
• Perform oversight reviews of complaint handling for higher-risk channels.
• Maintain issue/action logs and support issues management governance.
• Conduct compliance reviews of marketing and customer communications.
• Assist with product development compliance assessments.
• Prepare governance-ready summaries for leadership reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Self-motivated with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in compliance operations or risk management.
• Strong written communication and project management skills.
• High integrity and sound ethical judgment.

Education & Experience

• A BS/BA degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year in consumer finance or regulated environments.
