Job Description

You will be performing your duties for the operation of the Chile Compliance Area, interacting with the Compliance and Other Functions team that reports to our Headquarters in Fort Worth, as well as with teams in other countries where we operate. You will report directly to the Local Compliance Officer and coordinate your work with two employees. The team consists of a total of four people, one in Colombia and three in Chile. This vacant position is temporary covering pre and post natal leave . You must have knowledge of Compliance risk management, development and evaluation of Compliance and Operational risk matrices, and familiarity with regulations on Money Laundering, Consumer Rights Protection, Data Privacy, Antitrust, and Anti-corruption.

You must have experience managing a team and knowledge of managing databases and process automation tools. Your responsibilities include delivering effective presentations to Senior Management to report on the progress of the Programs overseen by the Area, proposing corrective actions if deficiencies are identified in business or compliance controls, proposing alternatives to mitigate regulatory or policy compliance risks, and monitoring and evaluating the results of corrective actions. You will also be responsible for audits or inspections.

You will report directly to the Senior Compliance Manager and will cover for her when she is absent or when required by local or international agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on specific follow-up tasks of the Local Compliance team
  • Completing assigned Compliance monitoring and testing
  • Executing specific activities related to documentation and process improvement in the Area.
  • Being part of the Area's continuity process that reasonably covers Critical and high-risk processes.
  • Acting as a backup for Local Compliance.
  • Completing and evaluating the Area's Risk Matrices.
  • Reporting and presenting the status of Compliance Programs, Projects, and Activities to Management.
  • Managing audits and inspections affecting the Area.
  • Ensuring the quality (QA) of the controls and monitoring established in the Area's annual plan.
  • Validating reports sent by Compliance to various stakeholders.
  • Supervising and approving technological change requirements.

Qualifications

  • Professional with at least 5 years of experience in the Compliance area (e.g., Auditing, Commercial Engineering, others)
  • Extensive experience as an auditor (will be a differential)
  • Advanced spoken and written English is essential.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment (Risk Assessments, Risk Matrices, etc.)
  • Knowledge or experience in database management. Excel advanced-intermediate
  • Knowledge or experience in auditing, testing, and monitoring is essential.
  • Communication skills, effective presentations, and interpersonal skills are essential.
