How you’ll make an impact
In this role, you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment (e.g. turbines, generators, governors, auxiliaries).
- Perform functional testing, system checks, and performance tests following technical specifications and safety regulations.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and start-up phases.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with customers, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards on site.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test protocols, and technical documentation.
- Support customer training and handover activities.
- Participate in warranty and service assignments when required.
What you bring
To succeed, you should have:
- University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Experience with rotating equipment such as turbines and generators.
- Track record in project management, sub-supplier handling, and scheduling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Primavera P6.
- Competence in AutoCad or Solid Edge software is preferable.
- Highly developed communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.
- Team player with strong leadership and project management abilities.
