The Work You'll Do

As a Collections Analyst at Sovos, you'll be at the heart of our global financial operations, ensuring the smooth flow of revenue that powers our mission to transform tax compliance worldwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Contact customers proactively to ensure timely payment of accounts, conducting professional collection calls across different markets and time zones.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships while upholding Sovos standards.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies for customer accounts.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries in both English and Spanish.
• Work independently on complex accounts while contributing to team initiatives.
• Track and process refunds for customers with credit balances.
• Research and resolve disputes on customer accounts.
• Prepare comprehensive reports including budgeting and forecasting for collections.
• Support additional accounting tasks and special projects.

What We Need From You

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong organizational abilities and self-motivation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with knowledge of accounting principles.
• Outstanding documentation, research, and analytical capabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and comfort learning new technologies.
