Cloud Services Engineer - Intermediate
What You'll Do
- Participate in our Agile process.
- Learn about and help maintain our automation tools.
- Develop automation for GCP using Terraform and Python and CI/CD.
- Write code in Python, Ruby, Bash, or whatever the task calls for.
- Develop automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in engineering and architecture.
- Full alignment with the Engineering Handbook guidelines and practices.
What Experience You Need
- BS degree in a STEM major or equivalent job experience required; Master’s Degree preferred; AI/ML coursework preferred.
- 2-5 years of related technical experience.
- Certification in cloud or automation preferred.
- Experience in one or more cloud environments (GCP preferred).
- Experience using one or more automation languages (Python, PowerShell, Go).
- Experience with programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript) preferred.
- Solid understanding of networking.
- Experience with other technologies (database, Big Data, AI, etc).

- Automation - Implements and improves automation.
- Cloud Computing - Monitors usage and costs of cloud and automation resources; identifies and corrects resource usage based on optimization recommender tools.
- Compliance and Security (IT Compliance) - Understands compliance requirements, documentation, and processes; implements compliance requirements into the automation and solutions.
- IT Network Management - Troubleshoots and implements changes to the tooling's network configuration; understands and captures network logs.
