Role Overview
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out care duties for patients, supporting a registered nurse. Duties will be performed unsupervised, focusing on maintaining hygiene, order, and safety within the ward environment.

Job Requirements
- SVQ III in healthcare or equivalent experience in a caring role.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to perform patient care tasks in a busy environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Participation in the Personal Development Plan process for professional growth.
- Basic IT proficiency.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Haemochromatosis and Polycythaemia.
- Experience in venepuncture and Venesection.
- Valid UK/EU/EEA driver’s license.
Contract Details
This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours) based in Ward 11 Oncology at University Hospital Monklands. The working pattern is Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
