About the Role
NHS Lanarkshire is looking to recruit a Clinical Secretary to Gynaecology Consultant in a busy department providing specialist care to women throughout Lanarkshire. The Clinical Secretary will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling them to operate effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications Needed
- SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) and at least 2 years in healthcare administration or 3 years in a secretarial role.
- Understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills with patients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills and IT competence.
- Audio typing skills required.
Contract Details
This is a part-time position with a contract for 6 months, working 22.2 hours per week. Please note that temporary funding may lead to secondment opportunities for existing NHS staff.
Location and Working Hours
The role is based in Gynaecology within University Hospital Monklands, with hours spread over 4 days in the AM.
