The Role

Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling them to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

What We'll Need You to Bring

  • SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus at least 2 years experience in healthcare administration or 3 years experience in a secretarial role.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
  • Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change.
  • Strong communication skills with patients, clinicians, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Competence with relevant IT systems.
  • Audio typing skills.
  • Full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • BICSc qualification in healthcare.
  • Qualified to ILM Standard.

Contract Type

Fixed Term for 12 months, full-time, 37 hours.

Location

This role will be based in Respiratory within University Hospital Hairmyres.
