Clinical Pharmacy Technician (Higher Level) - Renal medicine

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated pharmacy technician to join the pharmacy team at University Hospital Monklands. You will work within the renal multidisciplinary team under the supervision of renal pharmacists, contributing to the quality pharmaceutical care of patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support quality pharmaceutical care for renal patients, including planned drug switches.
  • Conduct clinical duties including medicines reconciliation and patient education on renal-specific medications.
  • Coordinate safe supply of renal medications.
  • Liaise with patients, the renal team, and community pharmacies.

Requirements

  • National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
  • SVQ Level III
  • Registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council

Contract Type

Permanent, Part-Time (18.5 hours per week).
