Clinical Fellow in ENT
Overview
An opportunity has risen for a Clinical Fellow in ENT from August 5, 2023, until August 3, 2027. This post will offer excellent experience in ENT and would be beneficial for applicants considering a career in this field.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the 1st on-call ENT rota and will have excellent exposure to all forms of ENT emergencies. Applicants will also have scheduled sessions at outpatient clinics and operating theatres.
Post-Graduate Support
NHS Lanarkshire has excellent post-graduate libraries and IT facilities. Active post-graduate educational programmes are in place, including dedicated protected teaching sessions for junior doctors.
Support for International Applicants
Individuals who have trained outside the UK will be supported in this role with a robust induction period, including a two-week observation period for successful candidates based on experience.
Work Schedule
You will initially work 40 hours per week, and after your support period, you will be approved to move onto the full rota, which will include a full banding supplement.
Accommodation
Accommodation may be available for those residing outside the NHS Lanarkshire area for an initial period of 3 months to assist with relocation.
