Job Description

The J.P. Morgan Chase Operations is seeking a team member to join the Chile Operations group, based in Santiago. This role is responsible for daily transaction processing, settlement confirmations, document processing, and due diligence within established timelines, as well as preparing regulatory reports.

Operational Efficiency

A key focus of the position is driving operational efficiency through process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives while maintaining a strong control mindset to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely execution across the trade lifecycle.

Collaboration

You will work closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate processing of all trades and partner with business lines and external counterparts to deliver activities on time and with high quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Allocate and confirm local equity trades.
• Track settlements according to business requirements and deadlines.
• Prepare and validate regulatory reports for relevant entities.
• Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support initiatives to enhance controls and service levels.
• Drive innovation by leveraging technology tools to enhance the user experience.
• Perform daily controls and escalate exceptions for strong operational risk management.

Required Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities

• Degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to work 100% on-site.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Detail-focused and able to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment.
