We are looking for a JUNIOR ASSOCIATE - CONTRACT MANAGEMENT - ENGLISH


The Role:


Our client is looking for a Full-Time Legal Junior Associate to join us from a remote position based in Chile. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting client’s business by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts as part of a wider general support service to the client’s contracts management and procurement needs. You will learn how process and tech work together in Legal!

The position will be engaged as a full-time exclusive labor/employee relationship according to applicable local laws.


ATTENTION: A substantial portion of the role involves reviewing and negotiating contracts, handling a high volume of work under tight turnaround times and frequent recurrence.

Responsibilities:


  • Be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of Commercial Contracts
  • Working closely with our Client’s in-house legal departments on a range of matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, publishing or consumer matters.
  • Active caseload management – use of platforms, upload information and tracking different matters.
  • Adhere to all our client delivery processes and commitments. We are really process driven and you will learn from scratch how to work in this environments, which we believe it is the future of work
  • Input and manage data on our client and client systems and keep them up to date, mainly contract lifecycle management software.
  • Help develop contract templates, playbooks and other tools for use by the team.
  • Be part of a team committed to continually improving our service to the client and adding value.


Essential Criteria:


The required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role are:


  • Law Degree and/or Legally Qualified.
  • Legally eligible to work in Chile.
  • Max of 1 year experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within a law firm, an ALSP, as part of an in-house legal team.
  • Advanced english proficiency written and verbal communication. Mandatory (the work is 100% in English language) – English test will apply to qualify.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Extraordinary communication skills.
  • You will work with systems of different kind, upload information, update reports, KPIs to comply with and have clear turnaround time obligations.

Salary expectation and benefits:


  • 1,500USD to 1,800USD monthly net salary expectation, which will be defined according to the candidate level an evaluation.
