Overview

An experienced Chief PHP Developer is needed to improve legacy systems and develop new features. This role involves driving technical direction and ensuring product success through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance legacy systems primarily built with PHP (Sugar/SuiteCRM) and Java.
• Tackle performance challenges and recommend architectural improvements.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement new product features.
• Support client onboarding and customize design changes.
• Work with vendor teams, including offshore in India.
• Act as a client-facing representative for effective communication.
• Assist in migration initiatives from AWS to Azure.
• Provide architectural recommendations for best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of PHP development experience.
• 2+ years of managing development teams.
• Participation in full-cycle projects.
• Advanced PHP 5+ expertise and optimization tool experience.
• Strong MySQL knowledge.
• Understanding of CodeReview and CI/CD.
• Hands-on Docker experience.
• Proficient in Redis or Memcache.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent in English at B2+ level.

• Experience with .NET technologies.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in refactoring tools.
• Familiarity with profiling tools.
• Background in SugarCRM development.
