We are looking for an experienced Chief Data Scientist to lead the development and implementation of machine learning solutions aimed at enhancing player engagement.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze player behavior, develop segmentation strategies, and optimize content recommendation systems. Your expertise will drive actionable insights and strategic improvements across gaming platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design A/B tests to assess system performance and player engagement
- Apply segmentation analysis to categorize players by demographics, playing patterns, and content interaction roles
- Build machine learning models to improve content recommendations for users
- Streamline workflows and maintain reproducibility across data science projects
- Utilize Databricks on AWS to process and manage extensive data efficiently
- Work with product teams to define objectives and deliver actionable insights
- Incorporate behavioral analytics to predict and analyze player engagement trends
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a relevant field
- Proficiency in A/B testing methods, PySpark, and data science reproducibility practices
- Expertise in Databricks, AWS, and processing large-scale data
- Background in behavioral or player analytics within gaming or equivalent sectors
- Solid foundation in customer or segment-based analytics and predictive modeling
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills (B2+)
