About The Role

This freelance role for the Tendem project involves designing, building, and refining messaging bots for various platforms including WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord. Use cases may include customer service, appointment booking, and automated notifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Build bots for messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord
• Design conversational flows and handle dialogue state
• Integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses
• Connect bots to backend services and APIs
• Evaluate and refactor AI-generated bot code for reliability
• Implement monitoring and recovery for bots in production

Requirements And Benefits

Educational Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in backend, integration, or bot development
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related fields is a plus

Technical Skills (Essential):

• 1 year of hands-on experience with major messaging platforms
• Strong command of Python or Node.js
• Experience with REST APIs and async request handling
• Familiarity with LLM APIs is a plus

Compensation

Contributors can earn up to $30 per hour, depending on expertise and contribution pace.
