About The Role
This role plays a key part in driving Reap’s growth and is embedded within the Business Operations team, which manages our global ecosystem of financial institutions, payment networks, fintechs, blockchains, liquidity and FX providers, and infrastructure partners.
We're looking for an entrepreneurial person to help us unlock our next market in Latin America, starting with Colombia, Chile, and Argentina. This role is perfect for someone who loves diving into new ecosystems, building relationships from scratch, and translating regulatory, commercial, and operational insights into go-to-market strategy.
You’ll be on the ground across LatAm, meeting with regulators, financial partners (like banks or fintechs), and potential customers, to help us decide where to expand and how to win.
This role is a launchpad for high-impact opportunities across Reap, offering strong performers a clear path toward greater ownership, specialization, and leadership as they master the foundations.
You Will
- Lead market assessments across Latin America: ecosystem analysis, regulatory feasibility, competitive benchmarking, and customer segmentation.
- Develop market prioritization and GTM playbooks.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (regulators, banks, fintechs, legal counsel) and lead in-country discovery efforts.
- Spearhead cross-functional readiness for new market entries.
- Create and maintain internal documentation, strategy decks, and progress updates for leadership.
- Provide insight into regional fintech and crypto trends to inform broader strategic decisions.
- Help shape hiring and local partner operations as we scale.
You Might Be a Fit If You Have
- 6–8 years in consulting, corporate strategy, VC/PE, or BizOps roles at a fintech, crypto, or global tech company - big plus if you've previously founded a startup.
- Led complex, cross-functional projects with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory complexity in LatAm fintech markets.
- A self-starter with strong judgment and a bias toward execution.
- Ability to think in frameworks but operate in ambiguity, turning scattered insights into clear direction.
- A commercial mindset, comfortable talking to partners, clients, and regulators alike.
- A passion for travel and on-the-ground discovery—this role requires frequent trips across the region.
Nice To Have
- Experience working closely with legal and compliance matters.
- Based in Chile or Argentina.
- Intermediate to fluent Portuguese.
