A tertiary qualification in earth sciences, business, marketing, or information technology.
5+ years experience in B2B complex, information technology related solution, enterprise sales experience.
Exposure to the mining industry, earth sciences or information management is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities with long sales cycles.
Demonstrated ability to generate and manage a strong, well-qualified opportunity pipeline.
Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets, quarterly and annually.
Strong interpersonal, relationship building skills.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Presentation and negotiation skills.
Capacity for both technical and strategic business thinking.
Willingness to work within a team that is highly collaborative.
Ability to travel is a must.
English language skill at advance level will be highly regarded and Portuguese language skill is appreciated.
The fine print of this gig:
Your role will be based in our Santiago's Office serving the LATAM region and report to the Operations Manager for Santiago, Chile.
Your primary focus is to expand the customer footprint of acQuire's GIM Suite technology.
You will participate in regional commercial strategy definition and will be expected to execute against said strategy.
In this, your responsibilities will include lead generation, cold calling, pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, opportunity advancement and deal closure.
Ensuring that all internal stakeholders are coordinated in line with the prospective customer's expectations, to help you advance and win deals.
You will have to be present in the industry and build strong relationships through networking, attending events, etc., and continuously remain abreast of advancements in GIM Suite as well as the broader information technology landscape for mining.
