Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

• Interpretation: Accurately interpret medical terms, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Cultural Mediation: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and assist providers in understanding cultural nuances.
• Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Documentation: Record interpretation services details accurately.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with medical terminology and healthcare practices.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience in interpretation or translation.
• Knowledge of medical terms and familiarity with the healthcare system.
• Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity.

Technical Requirements

Ensure your setup meets the following:

• Internet speed: 10Mbps or 20Mbps for download and upload.
• Low latency: under 150ms.
• USB wired headset with a noise-canceling microphone.
• Good PC specifications: Core i3 (10th gen) or higher with a minimum of 8GB RAM.
• LAN (Ethernet) connection and HD Webcam required.

Schedule and Pay

Work hours are flexible between 9 AM and 7 PM EST (Monday to Friday) with a pay rate of $6 per hour based on dedicated shifts.
