Position Details

This position requires relocation to Málaga, Spain. While arranging the relocation, the selected candidate will work remotely following Spanish business hours (CET), with a hybrid model once settled.

Job Description

As a Big Data Developer, you will be part of the Regulatory and Compliance technology team, involved in:

• Business application development throughout the software lifecycle.
• Understanding user needs and providing strategic technological solutions.
• Code optimization and analysis, incorporating various methodologies.
• Project planning and execution using Agile methodology.
• Managing internal tools to document ALM at all project phases.
• Support for incident management, including planned interventions.
• Conducting unit, integrated, and regression tests.
• Managing tools for release promotion.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Big Data Developer.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mathematics, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in Java/Javascript, ETL's, GitHub, and databases like Oracle (PLSQL) and Postgres.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Microservices (Spring Boot), Openshift, Flink, Drools, and Kafka.
• Knowledge in DevOps and Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strategic mindset for innovation.
• Familiarity with S3, Elastic, Angular, and regulatory reporting in transactional areas.
