Responsibilities

Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence is looking for a Software Consultant in Brazil. In this role, you will work through support queue tickets and provide solutions/workarounds for defects reported by clients. You will collaborate with our technical leadership for the support team to ensure quality solutions that are well-tested and delivered timely in line with our SLAs.

In some cases, you may need to investigate reported issues remotely via screen share calls with clients, highlighting the importance of strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for this role.

This is not a traditional programmer type role; however, it suits a candidate with a robust technical skill set who is comfortable collaborating with customers to solve their problems.

Education / Qualifications

• Responding to customer bug reports or from receipt to resolution (including updating tickets, responding to emails, etc.)
• Identifying and redirecting non-support items to the relevant department.
• Reporting to and escalating client issues to the Global Support Manager
• Keeping up to date with the details of client support contracts and applying them to ticket resolution
• Reproducing, diagnosing, analyzing, and correcting reported product defects
• Deploying fixes and proposing solutions for defects in our software
• Interfacing with end-users and partners for support, feedback, and debugging
• Collaborating with members of the global j5 team in various regions
• Writing knowledge manuals and procedures
• Management and configuration of the solution
