Job Description

Scope of Position

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Import Department.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
  • Track and trace Air Import files as required.
  • Use Workflows on a daily basis.
  • Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments.
  • Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and Service Providers billing.
  • Interact with customers in arranging their international shipments.
  • Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Meet compliance with all regulations.
  • Understand department process flow and seek improved efficiency.
  • Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed.
  • Meet KPI standards as per company procedures.
  • Overseas communications with timely responses to inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Related experience and/or training.
  • Understanding of air documentation process is a plus.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for clear communication.
  • Pro-active and strong organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • IATA certification preferred.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Air Import Lead Agent, Supervisor, and Manager.
