About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer into every part of how we work. As an AI Software Engineer, you will own and ship our internal automation roadmap. This is a builder role focused on creating production systems utilizing advanced AI models.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools that reduce manual hours across our design and development production process.
• Automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and our internal CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our broader AI stack.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience building production software using Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks.
• Proven API integration work with OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and basic cloud deployment.
• English proficiency for async written work with a US-based team.
