Responsibilities

• Lead development of machine-learning models for personalized content, offers, and recommendations.
• Advise on model testing for proper evaluation before rollout.
• Manage model performance and reliability.
• Enhance shared AI infrastructure, including data pipelines and monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities.
• Provide technical direction to engineers and data scientists.
• Maintain clear documentation for ongoing work.
• Coordinate planning to ensure clarity on goals and priorities.
• Make informed tradeoff decisions balancing multiple factors.
• Guide the team in adopting AI solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years in machine-learning systems in production.
• Strong understanding of ranking models and experiment design.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, and cloud-based ML pipelines.
• Ability to lead discussions and provide clear direction.
• Strong organizational skills for managing projects.
• Excellent communication skills for technical translations.
• Advanced proficiency in English (C1+).
