About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is integrating an AI automation layer into its operations. As an AI Automation Engineer, you will lead and execute our internal automation roadmap. This position focuses on building operational systems rather than research.

Responsibilities

You will collaborate with engineering and delivery leaders to transform documented automation workflows into fully operational systems. Candidates should have demonstrated experience building with LLMs.

What You Will Build

• Agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Integrations with Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
• Internal tools aimed at reducing manual hours in design and development.
• Automation pipelines that connect WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and our CMS.
• MCP server integrations as part of our AI framework.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in building production software with Python or Node.js.
• Hands-on expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
• Proven work integrating with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs.
• Thorough understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and cloud deployment.
• Proficient English skills for asynchronous communication with a US-based team.
