Job Overview

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver superior customer satisfaction with the HPS Technical Support response, communication, and resolution of customer cases for the HPS System and Infrastructure line of business.

The GTAC engineer works in a global team, providing support for a defined set of products/technologies. Occasional visits to customer locations may be required for critical site investigations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote support & services effectively.
• Execute GTAC and standard audit checklists.
• Report to regional stakeholders.
• Manage customer inquiries and issues proactively.
• Comply with GSM processes for documentation and communication.
• Maintain strong case documentation and ensure resolution of customer issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries efficiently, meeting SLA timelines.
• Provide timely updates to customers.
• Support Honeywell affiliates in meetings with customers.
• Stay current with HPS product portfolio and maintain expert knowledge on Experion PKS Client/Servers.
• Share knowledge and findings with team members.
• Support through a follow-the-sun approach within the Global TAC organization.
• Communicate directly with Honeywell Developers for issue resolution.
• Detect and report product defects.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Engineering degree in electronics, Chemical, instrumentation or process technologies.
• 6+ years of experience with TPS and TPN product family and architecture.

WE VALUE

• 6+ years’ experience with Honeywell process control systems and specific troubleshooting experience.
