About the Job:
The Ad Optimization Associate is a critical role responsible for hands-on Google Ads optimization and high-accuracy execution, supporting operational tasks as needed during our transition away from manual keyword work. The position requires deep proficiency in Google Ads strategy, expertise in data conversion and quality control (using tools like Google Sheets), and the ability to translate performance metrics into clear, actionable recommendations for campaign and ad group optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Analysis: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Google Ads campaign types and strategies (e.g., Search, PMax). Regularly analyze client Google Ads accounts to proactively identify structural, keyword, and bid strategy improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Structural Optimization Recommendations: Formulate and recommend structural improvements focusing on campaign segmentation, ad group rationality, and keyword utilization (including bidding strategies, audience targeting, and negative keyword management) to ensure strict alignment with and maximize overall campaign objectives.
- Data Interpretation and Communication: Analyze key Google Ads metrics (e.g., Quality Score, CTR, Conversion Rate, CPC) to diagnose performance trends and organize complex data in a digestible format (using Google Sheets/Looker Studio) for effective communication to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Keyword Portfolio Development: Assist in creating and managing keyword portfolios for PPC campaigns. Focus on selecting relevant keywords that increase visibility and engagement, aligning with campaign objectives.
- Data Entry and Document Formatting: As needed during transition, accurately compile and format documents for data entry, ensuring quality and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Transcription and Data Conversions: Transcribe source data into the required format and transfer information from spreadsheet applications to software systems such as Airtable or Google Ads.
Qualifications:
- Advanced/Intermediate English Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and understand complex instructions in both written and spoken English. Interview process will be conducted exclusively in that language.
- Google Ads Proficiency (Advanced): Demonstrated hands-on experience and deep proficiency with the Google Ads platform, its processes, and campaign implementation best practices.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Drive: Strong experience in using Google Sheets and Google Drive for data management and organization.
- Following Specific Instructions and Guidelines: Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong Communication Skills: Capability to effectively coordinate within the team and report progress clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Highly attentive in spreadsheet-based workflows and quality assurance.
- Adaptability: Openness to adapt to various roles and tasks as the project evolves.
- Education: University degree (preferably in Marketing or a related field).
Transition Expectations:
- Primary focus: Optimize in Google Ads (hands-on execution + analysis).
- Transition coverage: Support SPT/operational tasks as needed during the shift to full optimization.
- Ongoing expectation: Document improvements and help level up the team's optimization skills.

- Reporting and Workflow Improvement: Familiarity with basic performance reporting and dashboards.
Work Modality:
This role follows a hybrid schedule, with 4 days on-site and remote option on Fridays. Our Santiago, Chile office is conveniently located near Tobalaba metro station in Costanera Center.
