What You’ll Do

• Run payroll for US team through Gusto: process payroll, handle employee changes, ensure accurate pay runs and filings as needed.
• Run payroll for Chile team: process payroll, handle employee changes, ensure accurate pay runs and filings as needed.
• Bookkeeping & reporting: manage monthly bookkeeping, reconcile accounts, and produce clear financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and custom reports as needed).
• Tax support & submissions: prepare and submit required US + Chile tax filings on schedule (sales/VAT, payroll-related, and other business filings as applicable).
• Accounts receivable: create and send invoices, track collections, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain accurate AR records.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in bookkeeping/accounting (startup or small business experience is a plus)

• Strong understanding of reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
• Comfortable managing tax compliance and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-finance teammates
• Ability to figure things out.

Nice to Have

• Experience with QuickBooks
• Experience setting up or improving accounting processes

Compensation:

$1,000 - $2,000 USD monthly
