About the role: We’re looking for a Junior Designer to join our small but mighty design team and play a critical role in supporting content production across our growing library of videos, articles, and digital resources. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their design career who’s passionate about health, storytelling, and clear visual communication. You’ll primarily work alongside our content and design teams to bring complex concepts to life through beautiful, intuitive visuals. From video storyboards and educational diagrams to polished eBooks and graphic overlays, your work will help ensure every piece of content is both clear and compelling. Responsibilities: Create visual assets to support our video, article, and resource content (e.g., eBooks, guides, landing pages). Design diagrams, infographics, and graphic overlays that simplify and clarify complex health and behavior science concepts. Assist with storyboarding and visual planning for educational and marketing videos. Work within our existing design system and brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all assets. Collaborate closely with our design lead, content strategists, writers, and video editors to bring ideas to life. Help iterate and improve on our visual systems and documentation over time. Requirements: 1–2 years of experience in a graphic or visual design role (agency, in-house, or freelance). Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. A strong eye for layout, typography, color, and information design. Ability to take direction and run with tasks while working asynchronously in a fast-paced environment. Interest or experience in creating explainer graphics or concept diagrams. Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams. Bonus: Experience with video production, motion graphics, or tools like After Effects or Premiere is a plus (but not required). What’s in it for you? Drive Test Automation Excellence: Design and maintain robust and scalable automated tests for our web applications using WebdriverIO and TypeScript/JavaScript. Evolve the Framework: Own the architecture of our automation framework (Page Object Model, utilities, shared components) to ensure maintainability and scalability. Ensure Test Reliability: Anticipate complex scenarios (iFrames, multi-window sessions, async flows) and build resilient strategies to reduce test flakiness. Integrate Testing Across the Stack: Build and integrate API tests (using Axios/node-fetch) into WebdriverIO for full end-to-end coverage. Champion Quality in CI/CD: Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI), monitor quality metrics, and enforce release readiness standards. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with engineering managers, developers, and product managers in an Agile environment to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation, including 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring capacity. Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with a deep understanding of async/await, Promises, and modern ES features. Hands-on expertise with JS-based test automation frameworks (e.g., WebdriverIO, Playwright, Cypress) and strong understanding of framework configuration, services, and reporters.
