Job Duties Under general supervision, obtains pertinent service work information from the customer and effectively utilizes information to perform an operation. Performs pre-job calculations as required. Supervises Service Specialists, Service Operators, and Operator Assistants at the job site. Maintains, cleans and performs preventative maintenance on equipment. Recognizes possible sales opportunities for the Company&aposs other products and services and communicates information to Service Coordinator or appropriate Company staff. Performs pre and post job inspections and associated paperwork and/or reports. Provides guidance and training to less experienced Service Specialists and Service Operators including formalized technical training. Assist in making evaluations and recommendations for improvements on equipment based on maintenance history. Skills are typically acquired through successful completion of high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job and at least 2 years of experience as a Service Specialist II, Drill Bits and Services (DBS). Coordinates, directs and performs complex, hazardous and/or high profile jobs if required. Given the nature of oil field service work, the ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. Must be knowledgeable on HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel. Proactively promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations, acting as a role model to less senior personnel. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes.
