OVERVIEW:Leading global operator specialised in the complete management of solar and wind assets for electricity generation is looking for an Accountant to join our Chilean business unit.RESPONSABILITIES:The successful candidate will play a supporting role in a wide variety of analytical, documentary, procedural, internal, and external reporting activities related to the company and its relevant stakeholders.Activities for this position will include, but are not limited to:Prepare general ledger reconciliations.Prepare and enter intercompany transactions.Support month-end reporting activities.Support in the preparation of various types of tax returns.Assist with the year-end statutory audit and financial reporting.Assist with budget control and budget forecasts.Prepare bank covenant reports.Entering supplier invoices and GL transactions in SAP.Prepare and process payments using banking platforms.Assist with asset management activities.Other ad-hoc duties.QUALIFICATION AND EXPERTISE:Certificate of Higher Education in accounting or similar discipline.Within 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role.Strong critical thinking and organisation skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and written skillsIntermediate Excel skillsSAP FI (accounting and control module) knowledge is a plusAdvanced EnglishPortuguese language skills are desirableSOFT SKILLS:AnalyticalDetail-oriented.ProactiveTeam spiritFRV is an equal-opportunity employer.
