Job Description Responsible for material shipping, receiving and processing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials / equipment. Maintains and updates required documentation / reporting as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered. Ensures documentation is up-to-date and reflective of material orders, deliveries, storage and distribution. Responsibilities Performs all Manufacturing Warehouse Operations Coordinator duties plus: Monitors handling of incoming material / shipments to ensure cost effective and operationally efficient space management. Monitors outgoing shipments and handling to ensure utilization of the most economic carriers / shipping methods. Monitors operations to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are effectively handled / packed / organized to ensure on time processing. Monitors Manufacturing Warehouse Operations to ensure all employees, visitors, contract / carrier personnel, etc., understand and adhere to safety requirements. Prepares and performs annual or other required physical inventory. Scraps material as directed by Material Analysts. Responds to issues and problems, seeking quick and timely resolution. Monitors reports and documentation for trends and opportunities for cost / efficiency improvement. Prepares status and progress reports for management. Qualifications Required Qualifications Education or equivalent work experience required. Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Manufacturing Warehouse Operations. Good written and verbal communication skills.
