Dialed In Bookkeeping

About the Role As a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you'll be point person of our relationships with 50-100 bookkeeping clients and the driving force behind your team of 3-5 Account Managers (our frontline bookkeeper role). You'll balance the art of people leadership with deep client partnership — ensuring our bookkeeping clients not only get great results, but truly understand and trust the financial picture we help them build. This is a role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving problems that don't have a playbook yet, and can hold their own in a conversation with both a confused small business owner and a seasoned CFO. What You'll Do Client Relationships You'll own a portfolio of client relationships from the ground up — holding regular monthly or semi-annual check-ins, sending thoughtful month-end financial overviews, and proactively building the kind of trust that makes clients stay for years. When a client's needs evolve, you'll be the one designing new processes to meet them there. Team Leadership You'll manage and develop a team of Account Managers — the frontline bookkeepers who execute the day-to-day work. That means coaching, training, and being the person they come to when they hit a wall. You set the standard, and you help them rise to it. Problem Solving Bookkeeping rarely goes exactly to plan. You'll be the escalation point for complex, unusual, or first-of-their-kind issues — for both clients and your team. If nobody has figured it out yet, that's your cue. Process & Systems You'll work across dozens of software platforms to maintain clean, consistent outputs for clients. When a gap exists, you'll build the process to fill it. You Might Be a Great Fit If You...
