Department: Advisory Location: Santiago, Chile Description Based in Santiago, you will contribute to the firm, by developing analysis and conveying insights to enhance clients' decision making. You will play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesising conclusions into recommendations. The successful applicants will combine strong quantitative skills, dedication and performance in team-oriented environments. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic, and intellectually stimulating, yet supportive environment. They will enjoy autonomy, the opportunity to substantially influence major decisions in the energy sector, and to grow into industry experts. The position suits a recent graduate of a bachelor's or master's programme Key Responsibilities Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision-makingWork closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model resultsContribute to Aurora's product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilitiesEngage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirementsCommunicate and present findings to clients Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required attributes: First class degree in a quantitative subject (e.g. Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Finance)An ability to collect, analyze and interpret complex quantitative data and informationEvidence of strong performance in team-oriented environmentsEvidence of dedication and commitment to set objectives and goalsAn ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical partiesGenuine interest in understanding the Chilean power marketsProficiency in English (C1 level)Proficiency in Spanish (C1 level) Desirable attributes: Experience in conducting analysis on power marketsCompetence in advanced data analytics (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, Advanced Excel)Strong academic record The successful candidate would start in June 2025.
