The Contract Administrator at AURA plays a vital role in managing and executing the full lifecycle of contractual processes within the Chilean operations. This position ensures strict compliance with institutional, U.S., and Chilean legal and regulatory standards, while supporting efficient procurement and payment practices. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, the role involves drafting and administering contracts, forecasting payments, and safeguarding organizational assets.The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in contract law, procurement, and bilingual communication, combined with hands-on experience in U.S. and/or Chilean government contracts. A high level of integrity, organizational skill, and regulatory awareness is essential for success in this position.Key ResponsibilitiesDrafts and prepares contract documents and amendments using AURA templates.Manages contract administration through software and ERP systems (preferred: UKG, Reqless, and similar).Solicits and evaluates proposals from vendors.Maintains relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with contractual terms.Provides semi-monthly forecasts of contract payments to the CAS Accounting team.Advises internal stakeholders on contractual and regulatory matters.Identifies and resolves potential contractual or compliance issues.Ensures required authorizations are obtained for relevant requisitions.Ensures compliance with U.S. government award terms and conditions.Oversees and reports on AURA property within their assigned area.Required EducationEducation, Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Business Engineering or Engineering in Business Administration.Preferred EducationDiploma or postgraduate studies in Contracts, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperienceMinimum 2 years of relevant contract management experiencePreferred experience with:U.S. Government contracts or prior experience in multinational organizationsChilean contracts for Services and Indirect MaterialsCostpoint, ERP, or equivalent systemsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong judgment and proactive problem-solvingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh ethical standards and professional integrityBilingual fluency in English and Spanish (CEFR Level C2 or higher), with strong cross-cultural communication abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteEffective time management and multitasking abilitiesStrong interpersonal and vendor relationship skills.Physical & Work ConditionsPrimarily office-based with frequent sitting and occasional standing/walkingMust be able to lift up to 4.5 kg regularly and up to 11.3 kg occasionallyRequires close vision, depth perception, and manual dexterity for office equipmentCapable of reading, hearing, and effectively communicating instructionsOccasional work may be conducted at altitudes up to 2,700 metersDomestic and international travel may be required.How To ApplyApply by May, Tuesday 13th for priority consideration.
