Equally important and integral to this role are the skills and experience required to develop the wastewater management area of our core Water practice and mentor young professionals.Responsibilities include conduct of studies, preliminary and detailed design, project management, development of cost estimates and tenders, and construction management of wastewater projects.You will also support project pursuit teams in business development activities such as proposal preparation.QualificationsCandidates should have the following qualifications, technical skills / experience, and attributesat a minimum to be considered for this position:An undergraduate degree in civil, chemical, mechanical or environmental engineering from an accredited universityA graduate degree in a related engineering field from an accredited university that is relevant to wastewater engineering is an assetEligibility for professional licensing with applicable provincial association (e.g. APEGS, APEGGM, PEO)Minimum 10 years' of engineering experienceDemonstrated knowledge and experience in a specific area of technical interest relevant to wastewater engineering5 years' experience working in a consulting engineering environmentEffective project leadership, management, and organizational skills, including an ability to manage competing prioritiesCommitted team player with experience working with diverse teams, including managers, engineers, and operations and maintenance staff.Excellent written communication and interpersonal and presentation skills with an ability to effectively engage audiences, as well as an ability to clearly summarize findings and offer meaningful insightAn orientation towards client service, including the ability to elicit and understand client needs and desired outcomesSuccessful candidates will be provided with immigration assistance through out the recruitment process.
