Descripción del empleo Nos encontramos en la búsqueda de un(a) Gerente de Ingeniería para integrarse a nuestro equipo de Procesos Industriales. El/la candidato(a) seleccionado(a) será responsable de liderar la planificación, ejecución y supervisión de los proyectos de ingeniería, asegurando el cumplimiento de estándares técnicos y calidad. La persona debe garantizar la coordinación entre disciplinas (procesos, electricidad, mecánica y estructural) y la alineación de las soluciones técnicas con los objetivos del cliente. Principales Responsabilidades Dirigir y coordinar al equipo de ingeniería en todas las etapas de los proyectos.Asegurar la correcta planificación y asignación de recursos.Validar y aprobar entregables técnicos antes de su envío al cliente.Garantizar el cumplimiento de normas técnicas, seguridad y calidad.Participar en la definición de estrategias para licitaciones y propuestas técnicas.Coordinar con áreas comerciales, y de proyectos.Supervisar el avance de los proyectos, identificando riesgos y desviaciones.Promover la mejora continua y la capacitación del equipo de ingeniería.Representar al área de ingeniería frente a clientes y autoridades externas cuando sea necesario. Job Description You will work closely with AFRY's Mining and Metals Technology Team within the Technology and Smart Solutions unit as a Technology Specialist or Manager, depending on your expertise and professional experience. You will be responsible for pyrometallurgical projects within AFRY's Process Industries Division. Technology Specialist’s / Manager’s work is versatile. Depending on your experience and skills profile, your tasks may include sales, proposal development, project management, process engineering tasks, as well as developing new approaches and client offerings. Typical Work Tasks Include Serving as a technology expert in the planning and execution phases of clients' investment projects.Modeling metallurgical processes.Designing pyrometallurgical processes.Sales and project management.Developing new solutions and approaches in projects, from concept development to implementation, including commissioning and start-up. Qualifications If you recognize yourself in the following, you might be the new Technology Specialist / Manager we are looking for: You hold a master's degree in a relevant field, preferably in process metallurgy.You have several years of hands-on experience in technology development, conceptual and basic engineering, project execution, and/or plant operation.You have the ability to develop new solutions and approaches in a client-oriented manner.In the position of a Technology Manager, ability to act as in project manager or in leading expert role in projects.In the position of a Technology Specialist, your deep knowledge of the field is utilized to provide practical solutions for clients.We expect you to have good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
