Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. This role focuses exclusively on networking technologies and excludes hosting or server management responsibilities . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across wired and wireless networks.
• Implement and manage network security protocols, including VPNs, ACLs, and firewall rules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for applications and services.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
• Perform regular network assessments and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal security policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to IT support teams.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+.
• Experience with SD-WAN, network automation, or cloud networking (without hosting responsibilities).
• Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.
